EVENT INFORMATION

Registration Status: Registration is open! This event is open to all marques and all licensed drivers who are at least 18 years old and willing to abide by the rules established for the safety of the event.

Forms: All forms and event material are posted to this Web page when available. Please see the table below.

Rental garages: A limited number of rental garages are available to keep you and your car out of the weather and on a clean, paved surface. Contact Carolinas Motorsports Park 803.475.2448 to make your garage reservation. Rental is $50/day.

Rental Helmets: Good news for those drivers who want to try their first driving event without taking the big step down that slippery slope by buying a helmet - contact Carolinas Motorsports Park 803.475.2448 to reserve a helmet. These helmets meet the Porsche Club of America helmet requirements.

Event Headquarters: COLONY INN - 803.432.5508 2020 West DeKalb Street (US 1 & US 601) Camden, SC 29020
Call 800.356.9801 for reservations. Ask for the Porsche Club group rate of $59 + tax (guaranteed until August 14).

PLEASE NOTE: Camping will not be permitted inside the track gates. We will have 24-hour security beginning Friday night and ending Sunday at 7 PM. Gate times for Friday night will be announced in advance.

Classroom: John Meek will be presenting our classroom sessions. He has enjoyed participating in track events for several years with many different groups and serving in various capacities. John has many interesting classroom presentations which appeal to both Novice and Advanced students. (Our instructors are always welcome in the classroom for a refresher, too!)

Heads Up

  • Carolina Motorsports Park has a 105 dB noise limit. If you exceed the limit, you will be black flagged and given ONE chance to make modifications to comply. If you cannot be quieter, then you will not be able to run. You have been forewarned so NO EXCUSES, NO REFUNDS for too-loud pipes.
  • Dress Code while On-Track: You must wear long pants; shorts are not allowed. You may wear short or long sleeves. Wear clothing made of natural fibers and closed shoes - preferably lace-up with thin, non-slip rubber soles. You may wear whatever you wish in the paddock.
  • Looking for temporary paint/lens protection for the front of your car? Check out the carpeting section of your local hardware mart (Home Depot, Lowe's) for Carpet Mask Self Adhesive Clear Plastic. The best deal is a 30 sq ft roll (24-in x 15-ft) for $4.99. (Thanks for the great tip, Shahab!!!)
